Nicholas is very passionate about teaching with over 10 years of experience in driver education and road safety. He is the founder and lead trainer of Kritical’s Defensive Driving School Limited, a registered institution in Jamaica dedicated to developing competent, confident, and safety-conscious drivers.
Nicholas began his career in the military as a Level 2 driver, operating patrol vehicles and trucks—an experience that laid the foundation for his discipline, risk awareness, and commitment to structured vehicle operation. These principles now guide his approach to defensive driving instruction.
He holds multiple qualifications accredited by CPU UK, including:
- Certificate in Defensive Driving Essentials
- Diploma in Risk Management (QLS Level 5)
- Certificates in First Aid, CPR, and AED
- Certificate in Car Mechanics
Nicholas has trained over 1,000 students across Jamaica and has built a reputation for providing practical, real-world instruction that ranges from beginner driving skills to advanced defensive driving strategies. His courses focus on accident prevention, situational awareness, and responsible decision-making, and are supported by lesson plans, diagrams, and live scenario-based assessments.
In 2024, Nicholas was recognized nationally as a Supreme Ventures Foundation Community Hero for the 2024/25 period. This prestigious honour highlights his outstanding contribution to community development and youth empowerment through road safety education and outreach.
Nicholas also leads the Drive to Thrive campaign, providing road safety mentorship to underserved communities and youth. His long-term vision is to establish Kritical’s Defensive Driving School as a one-stop service hub offering permit preparation, passport photos, vehicle documentation support, and basic mechanic literacy training.
