Defensive Driving School Refund Policy
Objective: To provide transparency and clarity regarding refund procedures for clients of our driving school.
- Eligibility for Refunds: a. Refunds will only be considered for clients who have paid for driving lessons or courses directly to Defensive Driving School. b. Clients must adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in the enrollment agreement and policies.
- Refund Request Process: a. All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email or letter to the Defensive Driving School administration. b. The request must include the client's full name, contact information, reason for the refund, and supporting documentation if applicable.
- Refund Eligibility Criteria: a. Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances: i. Instructor unavailability: If Defensive Driving School is unable to provide the agreed-upon number of lessons due to instructor unavailability or scheduling conflicts. ii. Medical or extenuating circumstances: If a client becomes physically incapacitated or experiences extenuating circumstances that prevent them from completing the lessons. iii. Unsatisfactory services: If the client can demonstrate that the quality of instruction or services provided by Defensive Driving School does not meet reasonable expectations.
- Non-Refundable Fees: a. The following fees are non-refundable: i. Registration or enrollment fees. ii. Administrative fees associated with processing the initial application or enrollment. iii. Any fees for materials, textbooks, or resources provided by Defensive Driving School.
- Refund Processing: a. Upon receiving a refund request, Defensive Driving School will review the request within a reasonable timeframe. b. If the refund is approved, the client will be notified of the decision and the refund amount. c. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
- Partial Refunds: a. In cases where a client has already completed a portion of the lessons or course, the refund amount will be prorated based on the remaining unused lessons.
- Refund Denial: a. Defensive Driving School reserves the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy. b. If a refund request is denied, the client will be provided with a clear explanation of the decision.
- Policy Changes: a. Defensive Driving School reserves the right to modify or update the refund policy as necessary. Clients will be notified in advance of any changes.
Please note that this refund policy applies only to payments made directly to Defensive Driving School. For any payments made through third-party platforms or agents, clients are advised to refer to their respective refund policies. Defensive Driving School is committed to providing fair and reasonable refund procedures while ensuring that the quality of instruction and services remains a priority.
